I fully recognize that I am one lucky chick. Seriously, life is good!! I am fortunate enough to be married to a kick ass dude. This man makes me a better person, he is my equal and my better all rolled in one.But more importantly, the man can cook. Seriously. He's the type of person who looks in the fridge and can make a meal outta left overs. The mind wobbles.......
Poor Louie! He broke his special bowl today. He was sooo upset too.....the thing is, the is the *second* bowl of his that he has broken in like 2 months!! You'd think that he would have learned his lesson!! When I say "Be careful with those bowls, they are NOT toys!!", You'd think he would listen!!.....ah well. He got these bowls while spending the weekend with my brother-in-law, but I feel bad asking him to replace the darned thing again so I think I'm going to try and find someplace near me that will do something like that...we'll see. And if I can find something, I'll be sure to bring my camera along!! :)
My pic for today is of one of my fav lunches. It's nothing special, pasta, chicken, and veggies, but I love, love this! It's really easy to make which is a huge plus for me,cause I am a disaster in the kitchen!!! :D

Today was kinda funny...Lillianna was in a "make over" type mood. She decided that not only was she going to paint her own nails (fingers and toes!) but that mine need some serious work as well. I have to admit, the girl had a point, I was sportin' the whole chipped polish look, and well....yeah. So we spent the whole morning painting nails, and exchanging make-tips....now here's the revelation...at 8 years old, I really didn't think that my girl had many, if any, make up tips to speak of, but apparently I was wrong! Lillianna knew a thing or two about how and where to apply make up. I asked her how it was that she knew so much, and she replied that she would watch the people putting make up on the models when she would watch "America's Next Top Model"....ahh it all makes sense now. If we let her, that child would spend all weekend watching marathon's of that show......well I suppose I could too. :) Seriously, I really love hanging out and talking with her. She is such an awesome girl.....funny, and smart.....too smart for her own good sometimes, but that's a whole other post...lol!! Anyhow here's a pic of her handy work... Miss Thang insisted on taking the pic as well......ah such independence!

Today's pic is pretty straight forward. The kids were content to turn off the T.V. and take out their Leapsters and Leap Pad from a couple of years ago and play together.....and quietly!! Ahhh sweet bliss!! :D Don't mind the messy room! lol

So my first pic is of my desk. First of all, I need to mention that our computer got hit with the a really nasty bug towards the end of last year. After many, many hours of trying to find a fix for it, we just gave up on the darned thing. The *huge* bright side to things is that we decided to make the switch back to a Mac. Lou's first computer waaay back when was a Mac, a Power Macintosh 7100/80 to be exact. :P After our marriage, we bought a PC cause it was less expensive than a Mac, but Lou always said that he'd eventually like to go back to the Mac platform.....fast forward 8 years and we made the switch back! We are the proud new owners of a MacPro! yay!

But I digress...... My photograph is of my desk, and I love the way I have it set up. All of my essentials are on there. I've got my comp of course, and right next to the monitor I've got the Bose iPod docking station thingy that was Lou's birthday gift to me. I *have* to have music playing when I'm working on the computer.... whether it's scrapping, photo editing, chatting, or plain ol' net surfing.
